She, her husband Matt and two daughters-Matyson and Abby live in Edmond as well. She is responsible for providing the vision and direction for the ministries that lead kids birth to 18 years old. In addition, she also collaborates with other teams to develop resources, from curriculum to video teaching materials, print materials, parent resources and all training related to kids and student ministry for the campuses. Because partnering with parents is so important and impossible for one person to do, Allyson is passionate about mobilizing and empowering volunteer leaders to do what it is that God has called them to do through NextGen ministry. Ka*Pop
They are three guys from Nashville, proving that dads rock. The Nashville-based trio of “3 Dads on a Mission” blends rich harmonies and danceable pop rhythms to produce an electrifying sound that you will find yourself embracing. “The group was born out of the flow of our church’s ministry” says rhythm guitar player and background singer Neal Hager. “We wanted to create a ministry that was unique to our kids, nthat they felt real ownership over.” With that goal in mind the songwriting duo of David Gallagher and Tyra Elliott began to craft songs that tackle kid-centric problems like dealing with bullies or trying to live up to a sparkly, Disney Channel image. Then they went back to basics, revamping such Sunday School favorites as Deep And Wide and Joy Down In My Heart. The three men combined their original music with crazy, special effects-filled viral videos, live sketches, and effectivelycommunicated Biblical truths every Sunday morning for 3 1/2 years. And they were able to see the results of their ministry in almost realtime. What eventually came to the surface was Ka*Pop.
