Church of God Youth and Discipleship makes training and discipleship a priority in all that they do. Each year, several training opportunities are provided in a variety of settings and locations. In November, a team consisting of 11 individuals from the United States and Europe, conducted training in Bucharest, Romania.
Kidfest Goes International and Ecuador Prioritizes Children’s Ministry

When Kidfest began, little did Youth and Discipleship know how far it would extend! This past spring, God moved in a tremendous way in all Kidfest events, with thousands in attendance and hundreds baptized with the Holy Spirit. This summer, an international Kidfest event was held in Ecuador. Hosted by missionsaries with a heart for children, Bobby and Tamitha Lynch coordinated and hosted a team lead by Children’s Pastors Patrick and Trina Osburne, kids in Ecuador encountered God in an exciting way through Kidfest Ecuador. The following is a report from the Church of God missionaries.

My grandfather, Rev. Manuel Gonzales Sr., was one of the seven ministers who started and pioneered the Church of God work in the Philippines in the 1940’s. I was even told that he has a picture at the COG missions headquarters. My parents are COG ministers and among the 1st batch of students of the Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries then Church of God Bible Academy (COGBA) in the 1970’s.
